Bird Box‘s Director Wanted the Film to Feel Like the Best Part of Horror Movies

With the goal of make her celluloid as suspenseful as possible , Bird Box ’s Susanne Bier wanted to take the best part of a repulsion movie and stretch it as far as it could go .

[ So ] how can we do something which observe the suspense without ever revealing it ? That was a veridical challenge but also something really exciting . ”
