The whole thing might seem hokey and merely sentimental , but it does make you sort of pine tree for a meter at which there was some way to “ show off ” your music collection . Beyond just scrolling down your iTunes or Spotify subroutine library , or place your iPod gently on a table . Right .. ? It ’s also possible we just do n’t give a crap about pridefulness in collecting euphony , as we abduct whatever we require from wherever we require , and bear it with us 24/7 like a digital cumulation of bacteria . I ca n’t even commemorate where the last CD I bought is — in all probability under my couch somewhere . And that does n’t really irritate me .
