While last week ’s sequence made fans want tobawl their eyes out , this week ’s episode will makeGodzillafans jump out of their chair and pump their fists in the air with raw exhilaration .

Dan Da Dan‘s eighth episode , “ I ’ve Got This Funny belief , ” sees Momo Ayase , Aira Shiratori , and Okarun sequestered in their high school , ankle - deep in a mysterious pool of piddle . While their class fellow and teachers are nowhere to be found , the trio are n’t alone in this liminal outer space . Much to Momo ’s horror , she ’s being stalked by the Loch Ness Monster . However , this is n’t the familiar Loch Ness Monster . Much like its manga opposite number , this puppet is hard inspire by Hideaki Anno ’s 2016Shin Godzillafilm design .

Much of Momo ’s confrontation with the Loch Ness Monster function by as it does in the manga . Ripples of her footsteps clue the beast to her positioning , leading the creature to reply with a laser beam from its gaping maw . However , Science Saru adapts Godhead Yukinobu Tatsu ’s open homage to theNeon Genesis Evangelionauteur ’s take on the kaiju to the next stage byrecreating its nuclear breath to the missive . Before shooting out its nuclear intimation beam , we see unripe neon lights travel up the vertebral column ofDan Da Dan ’s Loch Ness Monster before it barfs up a bunch of water , shut its school-age child , and shoots out a glorious , highly concentrated green beam of vigor down the shoal hall . luckily , for all the flash , Momo and her friends are n’t harmed in the bombardment of its attack .
