“ I like the audaciousness of an immortal grinder suppose to a human , ‘ I do this because I know you , ’ ” Warren Johnson say in a statement supply to io9 . “ That line is in the first issue , actually . I was thinking , what good room to research how much a character love a maybe undeserving humanity than to really quiz the limitation of where that love goes , when face up with the rough world of what man is subject of ? Within this humanity , humans are doing their good to survive , and when human race are strain to live , a lot of times the sorry contribution of ourselves come out . So that ’s on full display here in Wonder Woman : all in Earth . ”
It ’s not just human race that ’s gone through some major changes in her absence seizure : Diana has as well , her exponent altered by her prison term sleeping , leading to her taking a more … scratchy and tumble approach befitting a post - apocalyptic earth . “ Because her changed ability are limiting her ability , it allows for more of a down and dirty flavor , ” Warren Johnson continue . “ In the first issue , she has a bar fight — she kicks a table into a bunch of warlords . I ’m really mad about that concept of this very elegant figure getting down in the dirt . get to withdraw that is really fun , and it ’s a direction to reexamine the character . ”
