Yesterday , Lucasfilmofficially announcedthe title for Episode VIII : Star Wars : The Last Jedi . Now that it ’s eventually in the wild , the movie ’s director can finally make one tweak to the current excision of the cinema he ’s presumptively been wanting to make for quite some time .
Rian Johnson took to Instagram today to share a teasery shot from The Last Jedi ’s on-going redaction process , giving us a teeny , midget glance of the movie ’s opening crawl :

Turns out — presumptively to keep the title as secret as potential during the edit cognitive process — Johnson could n’t in reality officially “ double-dyed ” the orifice crawling of the film until after the Last Jedi name was released by the company . Now the movie is a teeny , tiny bit nigher to being over !
I must admit though , the title does calculate very nice in that big , capitalise crawl baptistry . It some how make it more prescribed than even the teaser poster we got yesterday .
