Dylan O’Brien , who get his break as fan - favorite role Stiles Stilinski in MTV’sTeen Wolf , has annunciate that he will not be returning to Paramount+’film“revival ” of the series .
“ It was a hard conclusion . A lot went into it,”O’BrientoldVariety . “ The show could n’t be more high-priced to me . It was the first thing I ever did and so many people there are extremely dear to me . It was something I was trying to make work but it all happened very tight . ”
It seems like there was a mix of scheduling issues and just a general unwillingness on O’Brien ’s part to risk mess up something that stop really well for him . I honor the decision to let a good thing stay in the past tense … but once again , I ’m personally bummed by his decisiveness because O’Brien was one of the unexpected breakout superstar of that show who managed to have chemical science with every exclusive actor on cover .

That ’s higher than any other character in the serial publication , and is over 75 % of fanfics on the land site . Scott McCall ( Tyler Posey ) , the actual nominal Teen Wolf has , by comparison , 48,000 fics . It ’s clear that O’Brien ’s Stilinski was beloved by the fandom .
Dylan , if you take this , I ’m not crazy , I ’m just discomfited . But good for you , prioritize yourself . And yourcareer , which is going really well , apparently .
