The Federal Aviation Administration has released a draft study about its initial review of the Boeing 737 Max software update , following two recent plane crash in Indonesia and Ethiopia that bolt down 346 people and lead to the earthing of more than 300 of the jets around the world .
The newFAA written report , issue on Tuesday , has deemed the aircraft ’s package “ operationally desirable . ”
Boeing 737 Max ’s anti - stall software , known as MCAS , has been cited as a potential contributor to the tragical clangor . According toReuters , the troupe has been reprogramming 737 Max computer software so that it wo n’t set off the anti - stall surgery in wrongdoing .

The new composition was produced by the FAA Flight Standardization Board , which consists of pilots , technologist , and aviation expert . It includes a recommendation that 737 Max pilots do computer - based education on the MCAS system .
Reuters reports that Boeing share rose two percent follow the release of the FAA reappraisal .
Boeing did not immediately respond to a Gizmodo petition for comment .

An FAA spokesperson say Gizmodo that Boeing still has to officially submit the software package for agency approval , so it appears that Boeing may not be out of the woods , yet .
