This impossibly lilliputian , 100 square foot theatre contains tiny chairs , a tiny fireplace , and a tiny loft with a lilliputian window which serves as a tiny bedroom . But of line its owner could n’t help springing for the 15″ MacBook .
Jay Shafer is the innocent architect and unfortunate occupant of this bantam house , one of many he has work up as part of his Tumbleweed Tiny House Company . He ’s been be in the above house since 1997 — this tiny tour was filmed in 2007 — but he ’s still actively progress new stamp stamp mansions today .
Says Shafer , on that first sign :

I call the first of my little hand built houses Tumbleweed . My decision to inhabit just 89 straight foot develop from some concerns I had about the wallop a turgid house would have on the surroundings , and because I do not want to preserve a lot of unused or unusable space . My houses have met all of my domestic demand without demanding much in return . The simple , slower modus vivendi my homes have afforded is a luxury for which I am continually grateful .
Now I ask myself : Does this make me feel beneficial about my relatively luxurious ( but objectively cramped ) Manhattan apartment or bad for being so comparatively ineffective with my space ? I ’d study it while doing some soothing pacing , but , you have it away . [ TumbleweedviaLaughing Squid ]
