In October, fans were taken back to the star’sLizzie McGuiredays afterJoe JonasandSophie Turnerdressed up as Paolo Valisari and Isabella Parigi fromThe Lizzie McGuire Moviefor Halloween. Duff starred as the lead character, Lizzie, as well as her pop star doppelgänger Isabella.

Jonas and Turner shared their costumes on Instagram, earning themselves Duff’sstamp of approval. “IM SCREAMING 😭😭😭,” Duff commented on Turner’s post.
Duff starred on theLizzie McGuireshow for two seasons from 2001 to 2004 on the Disney Channel. While she was previously set to reprise the role in a Disney+ revival, the show was scrapped after two episodes due to creative differences.
While Duffattempted to have the show moved to Huluso they could depict a more mature version of the now 30-year-old character, she said last December that the revivalwas no longer happening.
“It was a big disappointment obviously. I will forever be grateful for the two episodes that we did shoot,” DufftoldGood Morning Americain March. “It was a really special two weeks of my life.”
Duffhas since been cast as the leadin Hulu’sHow I Met Your Father, a sequel series toHow I Met Your Mother, which is expected to dropsometime next yearon Hulu.
