“We were able to park and walk up our street to bear witness to all the loss. Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. For now,” she wrote. “It’s not livable but mostly intact. We lost Taylor and Griffin’s studio with every instrument and piece of equipment they’ve ever owned. We lost our garage and back house.”
The actress lives in the home withhusband Goldsmith, 39, andtheir kids, August “Gus” Harrison, 3, Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett, 2, and 3-month-old Louise Everett. In her Instagram post, she shared three photos showing the destroyed property.
Moore added that she and Goldsmith “love this community and will do everything we can to help rebuild and support. Thanks for everyone for checking on us and offering us help. Altadena strong.”
The family recently completed a six-year renovation of their property. Moore oftenshared her passion for interior designand the progress of her home project on social media. The star’s previous home in Pasadena, Calif., wasfeatured on the cover ofArchitectural Digestin 2018.

The actress and singer previously posted on Instagram Stories how her family was handling the fires and documented how her community had been devastated. She first posted on Wednesday, Jan. 7, that she and her family had evacuated and didn’t know if their house survived.
“Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don’t know if our place made it,” Moore wrote, alongside a photo of herself sitting with her son Ozzie.
“Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night. Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel,” Moore continued.
On Thursday, Jan. 8, she addeda video showingstill-burning buildings in the northeast L.A. neighborhood.
“This is Altadena. Leveled. My sweet home,” she wrote. “I am devastated and gutted for those of us who’ve lost so much. I’m absolutely numb.”

Moore alsoposted videosof the smokey skies and ongoing fires to her profile.
“I love you, Altadena. Grateful for my family and pets getting out last night before it was too late (and endless gratitude to friends for taking us in and bringing us clothes and blankets). Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family.”

The Eaton fire that impacted Moore’s home started on Tuesday, Jan. 7. It has grown to more than 10,600 acres as of Thursday, Jan. 9. More than 80,000 people were impacted, though the death toll remains unknown.
