Sarah Hylandwon’t be returning toLove Island USA.

After two seasons as host, the actress announced she is leaving the Peacock series to focus on another Hollywood project. “Well, I just got a text,” she joked in an Instagram Story post. “I’m disappointed the news had to break this way but it is in fact true that I will not be returning to the island this summer.”

Hyland, 33, added that she has “committed to an exciting project, that will be announced soon, that conflicts directly with the shooting dates forLove Island USA.”

TheModern Familyalum offered her support for the upcoming cast of hopeful romantics, adding, “While I’m sad I can’t return, I hope to see lots of love this summer on Peacock!”

“She’s just such a natural and so likable and, you know, I think the Islanders all look up to her as well,” he toldThe Hollywood Reporter. “So she’s been, she’s just a joy.”

There’s no word from Peacock on who could replace Hyland this go-around. However,TMZ reportedthatVanderpump RulesstarAriana Madixhas been named as a possible replacement. The report broke ahead of Hyland’s Instagram post.

Previous seasons ofLove Island USAare now available to stream in full on Peacock.
