“Even if it’s with your everyday jogger set,” she notes, suggesting to “throw on some boots to elevate the look from day to dinner.”

And carrying a “unique, one-of-a-kind vintage handbag or clutch always works as a conversation starter at any party.”

“Add a fancy vintage chain or long necklace to transform your basic foldover clutch or wallet into a shoulder bag or cross-body bag,” she says of her innovative upgrade.

Another unique pro tip is to “repurpose a vintage cigarette case into a business card carry case. It adds a level of chicness and elegance when handing someone a card — especially when your fingers are adorned with cocktail rings.”

For bonus points, “Always keep a vintage makeup compact in your bag. Nothing says glamour more than applying your lipstick or gloss while looking into a bejeweled compact.”
