The star, 34, appeared virtually to accept theaward for artist of the year at Monday’s 11th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards. Swift wasn’t able to attend the event in person but made sure to let the audience know how much she appreciated the coveted, fan-voted award.
True to form, Swift’s accessories also held a deeper meaning, including her “T” and “S” gold initial earrings,first spotted on the star during football season, and herTilly Sveaas' Gold T-Bar Curb Link Necklace, a favorite in her rotation.
“Hey! I wanted to say thank you so much to anyone who voted for this award,” Swift said in the clip that played after*NSYNC’sLance BassandBackstreet Boys’sAJ McLeanintroduced her as the award winner. “iHeart, you’ve also just been so incredibly supportive over the course of my entire career, but especially this year has been pretty spectacular. I am so grateful for that.”
A “spectacular year” indeed — in addition to her record-breaking Eras Tour, Swiftwon album of the year for her albumMidnights(her fourth win in the category) at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
To conclude her iHeartRadio speech, the singer acknowledged fans for their continued support and teased “exciting things” coming in the future — including her new album,The Tortured Poets Department, coming on April 19.
“You know, to the fans, it is completely up to you to choose how you spend your time, what concerts you want to go to, what music you want to make the soundtrack of your life,” Swift shared. “And to anyone who has included me in those choices, I am so, so, so thankful for that.”
She continued, “I am so blown away and so thankful and I just can’t wait to keep having fun with you guys because we have a lot of exciting things coming up. Thank you so much.”

With nine total nods, Swift led the nominations at this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards. Aside from artist of the year, she took home awards for pop artist of the year, tour of the year and best tour style for herEras Tour ensembles. Swift continues to be the top-winning artist at the iHeartMusic Awards; with her wins on Monday night, she’s won 25 total.
