Lohan, 37, made a surprise appearance at the premiere of the newMean Girlsfilm on Monday night — 20 years after the premiere of the 2004 film in which she starred and the musical is based — marking a full-circle moment for the new mom.
The actress, who played teen Cady Heron in the iconic movie, hit the red carpet at the New York City premiere dressed to impress ina black cut-out Alexandre Vauthierdesign with an embellished crystal belt, teamed withGiuseppe Zanotti ankle-strap heels and Melis Goral jewelry.
Lohan’s hair was styled in relaxed, side-sept waves (get the full breakdown here) as she also sported pink lipstick and rosy blush.

Lohan’s appearance at Monday’s premiere comes months after the actress reunited with herMean GirlscostarsLacey ChabertandAmanda Seyfriedto film aBlack Friday commercialfor Walmart.
Speaking to PEOPLE at the premiere on Monday, Lohan —who became a new mom last year after welcoming 5-month-old son Luai— shared whether or not she thinks she’s a “cool mom.”
“I hope so!” she responded on the carpet.
On the carpet, Lohan took photos withSaturday Night LivecreatorLorne MichaelsandTina Fey, who co-wrote the newMean Girlsfilm. Fey, 53, also wrote and starred in the 2004 film alongside Lohan in her role as teacher Ms. Norbury.
