Cardi BandBruno Marssure know how to turn up the heat.

On Friday, the rapper, 26, and singer, 33, dropped the official music video for their sexually charged, ’90s R&B-inspired duet “Please Me” — and the clip is just as hot as the song itself.

Eventually, Cardi and Mars move the part to the parking lot, where each get into their respective cars (after some playful canoodling on the hood of Cardi’s car, of course). And even though they’re traveling separately, both are still connected — singing to one another from afar in the clip’s final shot.

All in all, it’s an electrifying video, with Cardi and Mars’ chemistry off the charts. Mars directed the video too, alongside Florent Dechard.

The two were scheduled to go on tour together last fall but Cardi canceled so the rapper could spend more time with her daughter Kulture Kiari. Cardi had given birth to her Kulture, her first child, just 16 days earlier, and needed time for her body to recover. She was supposed to be on the road at the 6-week mark.

“As of today, I’ve decided I won’t be joining Bruno on tour this Fall,” Cardi wrote on social media on July 26. “I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically.”

Mars also shared his own supportive message to Cardi on social media, where he reassured the rapper that they would “share the stage when the time is right.”
